I WOULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS IF I COULD, STAY FAR AWAY FROM CARID. I purchased a set of headlights for my vehicle from CARiD in January 2023 for a total of $574.50. The headlights did not work with my vehicle as advertised so I returned the items to CARiD. On April 6th 2023 I was informed that the refund has been approved but when they tried to refund my credit card it would not go through, can they send a physical check. The refund did not go through as the credit card I used to purchase the headlights was compromised and was issued a new card sometime between January and April 2023. I responded on April 10th 2023 that a check would be fine for the amount of $574.50 payable to myself. April 11th Carid responded and asked me to allow 2 days for them to process and 3 to 5 days for delivery of the check, which I did. On April 21st I emailed Carid asking for a status update of the refund and the check which their response to this email and everyone after was to allow 72 hours. I waited again then emailed requesting information on the status of my refund on May 1st again on May 9th again on May 22nd and called again today all with the same response of allow 72 hours. They have been in possession of the headlights and my $574.50 since the end of March and they still have not issued the check of $574.50. This is only half of the issue, I'm not even going to get into the first set of headlights that I purchased and denied a refund as these also did not work with my vehicle as advertised. I had to rewire the wiring harness to make them work with no assistance from Carid. I was actually told "good luck with your broken headlights" from the supervisor.
I've had great service through CARID
I've been buying parts from them for a little while great service
Great customer service no bad thing to say about them until my last purchase I bought a harmonic balancer from CARID on April 2 2023 order # *******
I received that part a few days later
When I did receive it turns out the harmonic balancer CarID sent me was the wrong one so I had to ship it back
I shipped it back out to them on April 19 2023
The warehouse received the item back on
April 21 2023
I waited for like a week after they received it I called asked them when will I be receiving my refund
Agent said that they've got to wait for the warehouse notifies them after they check the item which I understand that
But there shouldn't be anything wrong with that item because I shipped back out the same identical way that it was delivered to me
The part was never taken out of the out of the house other than taking it dropping it off to send it back the only reason I knew it was the wrong harmonic balancer is because I looked at the new one and compared it to my old part
The new part was bigger than my old part
I waited a couple more weeks called CarID back I got the same reply
I asked the agent what is going on they said they will contact the warehouse to get an update
They said they will contact me in 3 to 4 business days
A week later still haven't heard anything
I called back different agent same reply
I'm like what in the hell are they doing are they sitting on their thumbs
Today is April 12 2023 I called and guess what a different agent same reply so I don't know what is going on the only thing I can think to do hopefully that will help me is by leaving this review
I would have gave them a good review if I got good service this time
But i'm getting the run around by CARID
I'm getting treated like dirt
I'm just wanting My refund
I'm praying CarID or the Warehouse or whatever you want to say see this review
I'm hoping to get help
I'm not asking for a lot all
I'm asking for my refund the money I spent for a part that was the wrong part that did not work for me
I'm not asking for extra money
I'm just asking for the money that I spent out of my wallet
I'm not asking for anything else
I'm getting the same info from different agents
They keep telling me they are trying but there's nothing good coming from it.
They keep saying give it more time how much more time do they need
I'm not asking for much all I'm asking for is my refund back

BTW everyone there's a copy showing that order was delivered back to the address that was on the label CarID email me
I'm wanting everyone know to stay away from CARID
Because you'll loose ur money and they say their trying to help people
