I wish I had researched reviews of Gucci merchandise before I purchased an item. They are cheap and do not last.
DO NOT BUY.
In comparison, I bought an Osprey purse some 10 years ago and it is still looking good. Gucci on the other hand - I have used my purse for only one year and it is worn with the leather worn away from what looks like cardboard underneath. I was so happy to have been able to buy myself a purse (55th birthday present with money and a bonus). £430 paid at the Gucci shop in Heathrow T5 for my white 'bit' purse.
I complained about the shoddy state of it at Bicester where I attended in person. The manager Jack was very shocked to see it in that condition and offered to return it to head office for inspection and 'replace or refurb'. However, after 2 months I received an email saying that my sunglasses could not be repaired. I reminded them that I had sent in a purse for inspection. 2 weeks later - they reply saying the same. Nothing to be done - usual wear and tear. I asked to officially complain and still they came back and said they were returning it and that the state it is in is usual... it looks like a FAKE. I am so upset. I will never ever buy anything of theirs ever again. I strongly recommend you think about the non-quality of their products. It really is JUST CHEAP NASTY TAT AND THEY ARE ROBBING PEOPLE AND LAUGHING ABOUT IT. I have all the emails and can provide photos. They know.
Please consider anything else. Anything. A plastic bag. Use your hands, but do not buy any of their goods. Shameful Gucci Shameful.

Gucci Bit-Purse
Hello everyone! I want to tell my experience with Gucci. For a year I have been watching the Gucci small Marmont flap bag. Seeing this, my beautiful husband decided to give me this bag for the birthday of my eldest son (he is 10 years old) I live 3 miles from the Gucci store and always buy everything I need there, I want to notice ALWAYS THIS IS A GREAT EXPERIENCE! And so back to the bag! I was about to go to the Gucci store for my long-awaited charm, when I saw on the Gucci website a wonderful gift with any purchase and this is a cotton shopping bag that is attached to ANY purchase except for ties. I loved this extra bag! Very convenient for the beach in my opinion. So I decided to buy a bag on the Gucci website. Once again, I will note that I live 3 miles from the Gucci store. And only one reason to order from the site is a cotton shopping bag! I made a purchase on Monday 04/05/2021, I received it on Friday 04/09/2021 AND IT WAS POSITIVE TO Tears. I have a video of me opening the box (I really really wanted this bag) Then I took pictures. The shipping box contained one sad magnetic little green box and an envelope with a returnable sticker. There were no protective air bags (Even my stuff from Amazon comes with air bags!) No COTTON BAG! It looked so poor! To be honest, it was a SHOCK for $ 2400! I love so much everything from Gucci! But my love at that moment gave a huge crack. I looked at the green small magnetic box and could not understand WHAT IS IT? I recently bought another Gucci belt and it is in exactly the same size green magnetic box! I thought maybe this is a mistake and this is not my bag? But no, it was the bag I ordered! Placed In the old version white "dust bag" and the bag was just pushed into a box that was too small for the bag! The bag itself was unprotected, only a little protection remained on the chain and there was paper inside. I'm 100% sure that this was a returned bag, which they did not bother to bring back to its original shape and look. They just threw the bag into the old version white dust bag, then shoved it into the box from the belt and threw it into the shipping box with an envelope on top. And this is what I wanted YEAR for $ 2400?! I hope you understand how heartbroken was I that moment! With shaking hands, I started calling the Gucci customer service. I've explained the situation to Cindy and she confirmed that it was not normal and also asked if there were any cotton shopping bags in stock. Yes! They just decided not to add it to my order! Cindy was very sweet and helped as much as she could. Here's the confirmation I received with her signature "Gucci works on your behalf to resolve your claim and will make every effort to provide a resolution as promptly as possible. Warehouse claims can take 3-7 business days from the day we receive your request. "
But after the conversation, as you understand, I was confused and waiting for the consideration of a new packaging for a bag and a cotton bag.
No time to waste, because my $2400 was spent fo the thing I didn't want to have any longer, I decided to take it all and go to my Gucci store, I wanted to solve the problem now! I even realized that if they couldn't help me in the Gucci store, I would just give it back in the store (return it). I didn't need this particular bag anymore. And so I with two children 10 and 2 years old and the shipping box went to the Costa Mesa Gucci store. At the entrance to the store, Amanda came to my aid, from that moment on I believed in Gucci again! Amanda is incredible! After listening to me, she immediately took it all and took out the bag that she opened in front of my eyes from the sealed bag, inside there was a bag with full protection and a new version of the dust bag. Then everything was packed very nicely for me in a LARGE BOX! Packed in nice paper. By the way, the new version of the packaging is just amazing. I like the old version too, but this new version is just a new level. And I left the store in a completely different mood! THANKS AGAIN Amanda! It was very easy and pleasant dealing with you! Now I am just waiting for the DECISION of my cotton bag that I still want to receive. Amanda helped me not to be disappointed in Gucci, but the online store has not considered my request, so I'm still waiting and frustrated by the online Gucci store. When the issue with the cotton bag is resolved, I will definitely update this review and let you know how everything ended up.
Update 04.15 Everything was done incredibly quickly! I have a new box and a cotton bag. THANKS TO ALL Gucci staff! Everything is perfect now!
