The K9 Training Institute is a social impact organization that was formed to improve the relationship that dog owners around the world have with their pets.
We teach a large number of dog owners every year on the very best ways to train their dogs based on our own research on animal behavior.
We are especially passionate about training rescued dogs and giving them a second chance at finding a loving and caring family.
The company has garnered a positive reputation for its effective dog training techniques, with many customers noting significant improvements in their pets' behavior through the provided resources. The training methods, emphasizing operant conditioning and practical strategies, resonate well with users, fostering a sense of joy in the training process. However, a recurring concern is the affordability of the programs, as several customers express difficulty in accessing paid resources due to financial constraints. Overall, the company is viewed favorably for its informative content and supportive approach, yet it may benefit from exploring more accessible pricing options to enhance customer satisfaction.

My companion, Alex, she has done extremely well with the training. She was a 17 week old German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois with absolutely no training at all. I have had her for 3 weeks today. She now walks on a leash obeying the command "heel" very well. She only peed in the house 3 times in her first two days here. She plays "fetch" from the teachings she learned. Now we can start on some of the "in house" behavior. I have high hopes for her K9 Training endevors.
The training information was the best I've found to date. It goes into detail of how to begin training my dog Ozzy. Only 10 to 15 minutes a day spent on training. I learned the key is being consistent. Ozzy has been receptive to the techniques and is better behaved already.
I have not signed up for the course yet, as I'm pending adoption, but I watched the entire video and I'm still drawing on what I learned from it. Upon adoption, I will pursue this further as I thought it was a great presentation.
Every time I look at your training section I see exactly what I have been grappling with as we train our new puppy, Feta! She's a white female, our first, German Shepherd and she's so sweet! Our black, GS, Diesel, crossed the rainbow bridge suddenly in August. He was only 4 years old. Feta is 3 months old so y'all know what we're dealing with! I count on K9 Training to help us out every step of the way. Easy to follow instructions. Just need bucketfuls of patience! Thanks K9 Trainer!
Molly is a 5 year old Great Pyrenees weighting over a hundred pounds with a mind of her own and. That being said let me bring you up to date on her training so far. We are working with the Masters class and have come through the first couple of weeks and (more). She is doing very well. Although with the 10 week class, this could take a little bit longer than some other dogs. But as of today we are very happy with the program and look forward to completion. The video programs are very helpful and make the course that much easier to follow. Let me finish with anyone having a Pyrenees or reading about them they will know they have their own mind and she is a challenge, but we are working through the program and happy to date. Great program and Eric is very good.
This is my first time doing a class like this online, I can say it's different but it's just me and Dolly in my room doing the class and it's fun.
The information was very helpful. I learned things that I have never heard before. My puppy and I will continue to use the information and tips. Thank you!
Information I will definitely need when I get my puppy next week.
When I first saw the advertisement, I called and had many questions about training and service dog qualifications. The staff were patient and understanding. They answered all my questions and offered assistance anytime I needed it.
I started working with Frosty of walking on the leash nicely with the U-turn trick. He started paying attention to me better already!
Loved the video. Our new rescued puppy came to us and few weeks ago. Will start her training as per your video. We hope to have the qualities of a service dog even though she'll just be our well loved dog. Thank you.
I have been reading the emails religiously and they have been so helpful so far! We had to drive 1000 miles with our new puppy and the suggestions were so helpful.
I like thinking kike a dog that's the best way to reach them is to get into their mindset. Great approach and easy enough to try. Seems to be effective.
So much help and many tips to help me train Indi. She is easier to control on her lead and walks are a pleasure to go on toge
Ther.
Thank you so much for your help
I enjoyed the video and have already started implementing the tips and seen improvement in my very energetic 11 month old Doberman bully mix.
I tried the training and it worked within 2 times of my dogs hearing the Ring go off (no one knocks on our door so when they hear the jingle, they go barking and crying).
I did enjoy the free training information. I did get some helpful hints that I had never thought of. Overall, the price for the full training session does not seem bad.
Great review for training a puppy. It's been a while since I've had a puppy. My GSD recently passed and he was the best dog ever.
It was very helpful to see the reasons behind the four quadrants and how to use them. It gives me a better sense on how to train Ginger properly and not encourage bad habits.
I am really looking forward to having a well behaved dog and with their help, I know, it is going to happen. Also, feeding the correct and better diet will help keep my best friend around a lot longer. Genny D and Taz
