** Shopify Theme Warning **

Unless you are an absolute Shopify EXPERT and you are INTIMATELY familiar with EVERY SINGLE coding convention (Liquid, CSS, Html) or configuration setting/ preference that has been used by the author, or authors of your particular TemplateTrip Theme, BEWARE!

You WILL NOT be able to customize and deploy your site.
You WILL NOT be able to resolve your technical issues (and you WILL have technical issues) with the Videos and Documentation provided with your purchase.

FULL STOP.

TemplateTrip offers some very handsome Themes.
TemplateTrip WILL make sure that your copy is fully and correctly installed.

However adapting a TemplateTrip Theme to the needs of a given project - is a complete
** NIGHTMARE **.

The Documentation and Videos provided by TemplateTrip are so poor, that they are BAD Jokes. Many configuration setting are completely un-documented.

Support via FreshDesk is EXCRUCIATING.
Inquires can take MANY, MANY follow-ups before issues are even addressed
And then (maybe) resolved.

Expect that numerous follow-ups over MANY Days and/ or Weeks will be required.
Expect FreshDesk Tickets to be closed prematurely and unilaterally.

Expect cryptic replies that make reference to Settings and/or Code Adjustments
That are UTTERLY un-documented. Clear and comprehensive replies using Standard English should NOT be expected.

If you are not a Full Stack Developer, YOU WILL BE LOST.
Deploying a TemplateTrip Theme by an experienced, computer-literate, but non-coding business professional is simply …. ** IMPOSSIBLE **.

It's a pity.
TemplateTrip's offerings are attractive.
They seem to have lots of promise.
There is clearly a body of expertise underlying their products.

Unfortunately preparing their products and documentation for use by average end-users (who are only trying to accomplish productive results) is not high on their agenda – if it's on their agenda at all.

After three MONTHS of effort, I have concluded that the TemplateTrip management team prefers that their Shopify Theme customers FAIL to deploy their projects successfully.

Rather than create Themes and support processes that, by design, ensure customer success, they have chosen instead to follow a path of careless, minimal guidance in the hope that their customers will simply give up in DISGUST.

How irresponsible.
In their mad rush to book NON-REFUNDABLE sales, they go right up to the Legal Edge.

Perhaps the Themes are merely Teasers.
Perhaps average end-users are not intended to be able to configure Themes correctly.
Perhaps the assumption is that a Shopify and a TemplateTrip consulting Expert will always be required and retained - for additional fees.

I have promised myself not to give up on making their Theme fully functional.
My expectation that a TemplateTrip Shopify Theme could be easily adjusted and modified turns out to be the height of naiveté. ** SHAME ON ME. **

If you wish to proceed with a TemplateTrip product, you MUST personally have all the requisite technical skills, or you MUST hire someone else who does.
