Is Scan computers a scam or a legit company?

I really don't know where some of the people above get their information from. One really tries to go through life trying to treat everyone as being honest and of good heart but these days one can't get away from internet "trolls" and whether or not some of the above are "trolls" some of the comments are absurdly over the top and frankly very silly if not abusive.
Being dissatisfied is one thing but hyperbole to the point of mendacity is another.
I've used them for over twenty years as a home user, running a charity and in the private sector. I've only ever had one issue with an order in all that time (and that was only because an item I'd ordered wasn't suitable but I didn't know that until I tried it out).
I've never had a real problem with Scan, even that one item was returned smoothly and credited back promptly.
Again, I don't mind balance criticism - we can all benefit from that, but I've off and on called Scan Sales staff for many years and they (to me) have been unfailingly kind. Criticise constructively - all to to the good - but don't dismiss everything just because one thing went wrong - and don't tarnish everything just because you think your experience speaks to all.

Technically, they are a legally registered UK company, and they do have an actual physical store, employees, ect.
But they never respond to customer messages or complaints and it can take them weeks (if ever) to actually ship items ordered to customers once the customer has paid for them, so they definitely feel pretty scam like to me.

They are a "legit" company but are the worst operating company I have ever seen in my life. Just stay away.

Legit Company who don't follow Consumer laws, problems with returns and misleading advertising.
