I ordered from Amazon DE on Feb, 14,2025. They took EUR 101,26 which is USD 108.43 out of my account. I received an email that the order might be lost and to cancel for a refund. I cancelled twice and never received a refund. I chatted and called with the German Amazon Site and received no help. I was asked twice to download a government ID in order to get my money back. I was not ask for an ID to download when Amazon with drawer the money.
I am a prime member for 10 years and never had any problems with Amazon. I also called the US Amazon, but they can't assist me, because it's in a different country.
Be careful buying from Amazon. De. I will cancel my prime account, if no one is responding to this matter. I am so disappointed the way Amazon is turning.

If you enjoy waiting endlessly, being ignored, and dealing with unreliable couriers, then Amazon Germany is the place for you! My recent experience has been nothing short of a disaster.

I ordered a mouse—just a simple mouse—thinking, "It's Amazon. How hard can it be?" Well, apparently delivering an item in a timely manner is an impossible task for them. They handed my package over to a cheap, no-name courier who never delivered it. Weeks went by, and all I had was silence, frustration, and the looming realization that I had just paid Amazon to give me a headache.

After over a month of waiting and chasing them for answers, I finally threw in the towel and asked for a refund. But wait, the drama wasn't over! It took over a week for Amazon to return my money. That's right, not only did they fail to deliver, but they also held my money hostage like some kind of twisted retail ransom.

This wasn't just poor service; it was an outright betrayal of the trust I had in Amazon. If they're going to cut corners with bargain-basement couriers and treat customers like an afterthought, they should stop pretending to be the reliable retailer they once were.

Do yourself a favor: avoid Amazon Germany unless you want to test the limits of your patience.

Terrible store - unbelievable decline in service quality. The order was split into several sections. Not a single one arrived. I contacted customer support, and the responses were even worse - scripted replies, zero interest in you and your order. The customer support from the Czech Republic lied to me, saying the order didn't arrive due to a block on funds in my bank, but the international support started refunding my money in part. For a while, my profile showed that the order was lost, and then any information about the orders disappeared. I still haven't received all my funds. My wife placed an order right after, unfortunately before I could warn her… it's been 2 weeks and it hasn't arrived either. I am disgusted with Amazon DE. I will never place an order through this primitive store again. They used to be OK, everything worked… now nothing

AMAZON SOLD ME RETURNED ITEM AS A BRAND NEW!IT ARRIVED IN DAMAGED PACKAGING WITHOUT ANY WRAPP!THEY JUST DROPPED IT IN FRONT OF MY DOOR WHEN I WAS NOT AT HOME!WHEN I SENT THEM PICTURES OF DAMAGED ITEM THEY TOLD ME THAT THERE ARE NOT VALID FOR THEM!CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT EXIST IN AMAZON!

This is the last time i buy from these unprofessionals scamers!I order a resistant band and when i recieve it where broken in many places.So i return the item and they recieve it on the 20th of September.Today (23/09) when i spoke with their customer service they say that they recieve the item but they want 20 DAYS to process the return!This is totaly unbelievable and totally unprofessional and frustrating and this is the first time it happens to me to wait 20 days just to see my return.So this site is only to buy and if something happens they "punished" you because you recieve broken item!Stay away from them buy from other Amazon NOT FROM THE AMAZON.DE they do not respect their clients!

Worst shopping site ever! Three orders in a row that they dispatch my items after 17 days. Totally unprofessionals! Costumer service sucks, everytime i talk with different person and everytime no one gave me a solution. Back to amazon.uk and i prefer to pay a little more for costume taxes but they are professionals and ship maximum in 3 days.

I've always trusted Amazon for my online shopping, but my recent experience has been a huge disappointment. I ordered the Samsonite Freeform Hardside Extendable with Double Spinner Wheels, Amethyst Purple, 2 Piece Set (21/28), but I only received the 21-inch suitcase. Instead of sending the missing items, I was told to return the entire order. On top of that, I was required to arrange and pay for the return shipping myself. Despite reaching out to customer service multiple times, I received no helpful support. I expected better from a company like Amazon, and this experience has really shaken my confidence in their service.

Disaster

Disaster, pure disaster. After years of excellent experience with this company not sure what happened recently. As many other say - 6 out of 7 orders not delivered (they contracted cheap but by far the worst carrier which do NOT deliver to customer addresses).
Instead, they pretend they tried (say unsuccessfully) and place packages to their "pickup point" in different cities around refusing all requests for proper delivery.
Their tracking shows the orders have been delivered but in reality they are somewhere in another city (in some farmers food shop, other in painting props shop, etc.).
Amazon Customer Service is absolutely impotent, just apologizing all the time but unable to do literally anything with that arrogant carrier.
No other way than to avoid ordering from them - never more. It´s a pity, but this is definitely the beginning of the end of another legend...

Customer service suddenly dropped significantly in the second half of 2023. I have used amazon for 13 years. It suddenly supports English language in chat and phone. Only emails are allowed. Customer service was outsourced to somewhere else. The agents can't do anything about it. The logistics routes to Czech Republic dont get any improved and even get worse. Customer service becomes ignorant. Amazon for me was one of the best in Europe and now it is just a cheap website and service now. Price of all items also were increased a lot in 2023. I try to avoid now and buy from other online shops separately.

Bad service

Made account wanted to buy some cds. They costed 5 times mores then on other sites but I decided to buy because they had most fast shipping. Paid 50$ for shipping then they locked my account saying it has suspicious activity. I did what they said and Im still waiting for them to unlock the account. Bad service don't use it. You need aged amazon to use your own card lmao

Worst experience ever

The worst experience we ever had with an online seller. The product iPhone 15 ProMax was never delivered and we had to claim a chargeback to get our money back. Their team was very inefficient in solving the problem, so we had to oppose the transaction through Revolut and got our money back after more than 2 months and after endless discussions. I do not recommend this company and we will certainly not use it in the future. Problems can happen to everyone, it's how you deal with them and find solutions that matter. And here Amazon.de was a huge fail.
