I got harassed be someone on Bandcamp for years and no costumer support or whatever. They do nothing and the person in question can do whatever it wants. You get completely ignored. But the homepage is changed 50 times a day so I guess that's priority. Bandcamp is not a musical platform either. It's a political platform where everyone seems to think the exact same, or blindly use discriminating words and nobody's doing anything. The report button is a total joke. Bandcamp does have great music but the costumer lack of support says they only care about the money.

So getting lied to of rip about funding your own account, and then being called a $#*! who will only work part time jobs the rest of my life, is just absolutely insane! You need to teach your recruiters interpersonal communication asap and you need to fire this woman! I've never been spoken to like this before by a potential employer! I'm floored as someone who works in customer service this is unacceptable! I've now been called a $#*! 3 diff times! So hopefully someone will be contacting me!

Band camp does not let you sell your music they only have choice people that they claim that they allow them to sell their music. Don't waste your time listening and putting up pictures because they will not allow it to be sold on their site.

When they did a review on a release i'm involved in, they completely omitted my artist name (while it's the first one on the release). Only wrote about all others involved and dissed a particular aspect of the release.
If you gonna write about people, do it proper!

Can't find multiple artists on their website. Most Artists have been canceled for no good reason, political crap. Go woke go broke... F BANDCAMP

I had purchased music that was in no way against their terms of service only to find out later down the line that Bandcamp had banned the creator of the music without explanation or reason. I can no longer access the music that I have purchased.

Bandcamp removed music that I listen to from their site AFTER I BOUGHT THE SONGS because they disagree with the politics of the artist. They have yet to refund me. Garbage company.

Paid on the site, received the download link via email. The site looks trustworthy but I was doubtful, so I googled it before I proceeded with payment.

I put my email in and they said I already had an account which wasn't true. Then I tried to get them to send me a reset password link to my email and they said there was no account by that name. How am I supposed to join to buy music? So annoying! The artists should know they are missing sales.

No customer support site is not set up to do password changes by yourself need one of their support monkeys to send the link. If I could give everything back and get my money back I would I sincerely hope they go out of business. I think a class action lawsuit against these guys would be a great idea!

Can't access material. No customer service. Song sharks. Sales are dismal. How do I fight to get my music back?

Was purchasing from them for years. Purchased a gift record for my brother, he had already purchased it from Bandcamp so when he received it he did not open it. I was on the phone with him when he received it and HE DID NOT OPEN IT. I immediately wrote to them and explained the situation. I waited weeks then months for them to reply... NOTHING! I had to bombard them on twitter and finally got a reply saying it was already opened. It was NOT! I then asked to delete my account. No response and there is no way to do it. Nice company, should be called BANDCRAP!

I have label signup since July 2021. They payd me 5 times and after that they stopped to send me my payments. You can't contact bandcamp support, because they don't have any support. They don't reply to any tickets. SCAM! Be Aware!

3 months ago I received 2 purchases, I received both emails confirming yet no money has been sent to my Paypal. I have had 2 responses then ghost.

Now I am receiving emails from customers saying they are now unable to buy my music. They are still able to stream and search for my page and music as per normal.

What my $$ was worth yesterday is not what it is worth today. BANDCAMP I WANT MY MONEY!

EDIT EDIT. No idea how I missed this. But I too have been unable to login into my Bandcamp account for sometime now.

My incoming paypal payment was planned on Aug 22. But i don't receive anything. Next day also 0 and etc... Now i see my paypal payment planned on Aug 28. Why? Before i always get my payment 48 hours after my digital sales. When i will get my payment? You owe me 700$. Your support never reply... Absolutely scam. I want take legal actions against this company.

Order placed march 2.3 weeks later not arrived so complained to be told that due to VAT new rules they dont know when said package could be Delivered. Surely a warning before I bought would be nice. Ruined wifes 20th wedding anniversary now so wont be buying again from bandcamp

The business model of Bandcamp.com is, in my opinion as a consumer of music and someone who believes in purchasing music, an excellent one to ensure that artists get most of the revenue for their work and consumers get a fair price. The work required to create a music sharing platform is significant so I believe that 10%-15% of the revenue is a fair price for the middleman who makes all of this possible. The artists have complete control to put a price on their music they feel is fair market value, and to offer bulk purchasing deals for consumers who really dig their music and would like to own it all. I can't think of a better way to compensate artists fairly and treat customers fairly as well.

In terms of how the site works it is very simple to use. The terms and conditions are clear as are the instructions for use. I have purchased many original works on this site and I have never had an issue with the payment process or any significant technical problems with the site itself. I have found that Firefox seems to work better than Chrome but other than that I have not observed any technical, payment or process issues.

I hope this helps anyone who is considering using the application. In summary the reason I support it so strongly is the knowledge that the artists are receiving 85% of the revenues. We cannot as a consumer base expect artists to create fabulous content and then not compensate them fairly for their work. That's why I chose Bandcamp.com over other sites such as YouTube Music Spotify and Amazon where there is controversy over whether the artists are being fairly compensated and in some cases have claimed they cannot make a living wage.
