I enjoy using Buybacktronics to sell my old devices and those of my friends in exchange for cash. They are highly professional and keep me informed throughout the entire process. Working with them is very easy and I am very satisfied with their service.
I sent this company a phone because they had the best offer of all of them. Once they received the phone they then said that there was scratches on the glass and it was not in good shape. Also said it was on a contract, which it was and I did not know that. But they then cut the offer to basically nothing so I asked for the phone back. That's when they said they would charge me $20 dollars to get to back. I have never had that happen. I paid the $20 got the phone back and sent o a competitor who paid me full price and did not find any damage on the phone. These guys are dishonest at best.
Gave me a quote online for my IPad, and they gave me the same price after receiving my old IPad. Had my check for the great price in less than a week. Highly recommend this company if selling electronics.
They lied and said the phone I sent in was MDM locked, however I brought it brand new from Verizon. Ripped the seal and everything. So I know that's not true. Charging me to send it back because I "misrepresented " it due to the imaginary lock on the phone. So they lied and want me to pay them to send me back something I didn't want in the first place.
So I was told My Xbox one had major scratching when Im a online seller and buyer myself I also got a game stop trade on offer for 75 hot card
Now I had 2 identity even rubs on top where I placed controller which no was brand new 60 no power box}!s!nn\*"=t
They revised the offer to $123 while they agreed the iPad is "flawless" they said there is white blotch on LCD. This ipad lived in a Zagg case with Invisible Shield glass on the screen. I sent it to them perfect. Now (besides low-balling me) which Im not going to accept they can either send me back a damaged iPad Pro or open a UPS case which is where we are. This iPad did not leave my possession like this. The only time it was less protected was in transport. Stay away from these guys --yeah great offer but now (my product is damaged and the offer is low ball)
I've dealt with BuyBack on two occasions now and each time was super easy. Amazingly quick responses to emails and even quicker payment. Will be my go to company for electronic trades moving forward for sure.
I had a nearly flawless iphone 8 with a barely visible scratch on the glass. No other signs of abuse or wear. I judged it as a "good" condition, not flawless. I expected $143. They came back with a "fair condition" price of 112. These guys are crooks. Just be smarter than me and sell your old phones through ebay or at a local store.
I was looking to trade in two older Apple devices and found this company. I found BuyBackTronics and decided it was the best solution to go with. I went through extensive questions to describe the product's value, which I answered honestly. Then they give you a quote and send a box. But when they inspect it, they magically find that a tiny ding is worth half the value.
They offered me $225 originally and then changed their offer to $40. Now they have you between a rock and a hard place. Either accept their terrible offer or pay for the shipping cost of $20 to get the devices back. Just an absolute legendary scam, go with someone else.
It's a bit concerning to send a phone off to a company you haven't dealt with before... especially one worth nearly $500. But my experience with Buyback we really smooth. They responded quickly to all my questions up front giving me the confidence to go through with the transaction. They gave me exactly what the website told me and paid me quickly via an electronic check. Their payments were among the highest I could find as well. Very pleased!
Hello,
Thank you for your feedback. Upon checking your trade-in we see that you had initially submitted a quote for the following devices: MacBook Pro Retina 15" as well as an iPad Air (2nd Gen).
During our evaluation, the MacBook was found to have a dent/nick on the front left of the computer, scratching on the lid as well as heavy keyboard wear/delamination on the screen. The iPad was found to actually be an iPad (2nd Gen) and not the Air model as initially stated. As you'll notice the iPad (2nd Gen) is currently not listed on our website as this is a model we do not currently purchase.
When it comes to getting an amended quote you have several options and for this reason we wish you would have reached out to us. We are more than happy to provide you with photos/videos of our findings as well as have a separate technician take another look to confirm these findings.
We are unsure as to where the miscommunication may have taken place in regards to you having to pay for return shipping; as this is a no obligation process and should you not agree with our findings we can always arrange to have your devices returned at no cost to you.
We look forward to your response to our 'Response Required' email in regards to how you would like to proceed as well as if you have any further questions or concerns that we can help alleviate.
