This is the second time we have ordered from Campsaver and are just as pleased as the first time. I don't typically bother writing reviews, but after seeing so many people who had written bad reviews, I felt I needed to share my positive experience.
We ordered a roof rack as one of their Blazing hot deals." Price too good to be true? Well…. Order placed on the morning of Feb 28th. Immediate confirmation. Email late that SAME day saying the racks were shipped. Tracking number via UPS updated the next day and package arrived on March 5th. In a undamaged original box wrapped in those air puff bags inside another box.
In a nutshell - great prices and timely delivery.
I took Campsaver.Com's invoice at face value after placing the order, it stated that shipping was FREE. But they came back saying it was a mistake and wanted me to pay $225 for shipping? Definitely not paying that, after the original invoice I have posted here stated the shipping was free. Spoke to upper management and they didn't really didn't want to honor their original invoice price either. They need to post shipping charges from the get go, instead of springing unwanted surprises on customers wasting everyone's time
Ordered premium shipping 3-5 business days, to get item on time before my trip. Needless to say item didn't arrive in time, and they give themselves unlimited time to process order. Will have to pay return shipping on top of paying for premium shipping. Customer service senior guy Chase C. Was rude and unhelpful but i dont blame him, if they can't pay return shipping on something they delivered late they surely don't pay their customer service guys well either
Ordered Blackstone Grill on 9-8-21 for & $79.99. We have received no grill or correspondence. Everyone who is unhappy with them should contact the Chamber of Commerce in their city and the Better Business Bureau as I am going to do. If people don't complain they will continue to rip them off.
This outfit is a scam and time waster. I ordered an expensive sleeping bag and air pad. After receiving a confirmation email, waiting days, they never bothered to email me that my order was canceled or gave a reason why.
I advise you not waste your time with these clowns.
It was thinking, oh no! After reading horrible reviews here and having purchased through Camp Saver. But happy to report my experience was awesome. Product arrived 1 week after ordering, as advertised, no issues. I guess some may have bad luck, but it was a perfect transaction for me, and they beat everyone's prices.
I placed an order on a Saturday for an item I really, really needed for a once-in-a-lifetime trip. This was after Amazon messed it up. Their "risk management" department came back with a handful of intrusive and ridiculous questions about the item's purpose, end user, and final destination. Okay, I thought, I'll play your stupid game because I have no choice. My clock is ticking. It then sat there for FIVE DAYS while I practically begged them to release it. Nope. I wound up canceling, and now I don't have this thing I counted on having. They don't care even a little. Heed the horrible reviews and don't shop here.
Purchasing from this company was the most unpleasant experience. I purchased mini backpack (see order photo) and two weeks later I received a large version of this item. There was a reason why I wanted mini! When I contacted the company to ask for the return label and refund, I got draconian instructions that I must pay for the return and let them have 10 business days after they receive my wrong order so they could inspect and scrutinise it to determine whether I lied to them or not about my claim. After that they might refund my money which I will receive in another 10 or so business days. The very thought of them scrutinising my order as if I am a suspect, made me do exactly what they intended - I'd rather lose $120, instead of dealing with this company. I found it unacceptable that company instead of issuing apology, free return label and refund, went on demanding more money and time from me for THEIR MISTAKE. Stay away!
Don't ever do business with this criminally dishonest seller! First, I got a defective item from them. When I returned it and asked for a refund, they tried very hard to convince me for an exchange instead. When I finally decided to exchange, they processed a new order of the same item with a MUCH HIGHER price without my consent. Then I understood why they tried to change my mind. This unauthorized transaction was literally a steal. When confronted via emails, they even tried to play stupid!
Campsaver.com customer service is outstanding! Vickie was very helpful, friendly, professional, and efficient. She stood behind the campsaver.com price match guarantee and cheerfully issued me a refund for the difference between the sale price and the original price of the boots that I purchased. I will definitely order from this site again.
