However, you chose not to listen.
For this persistent harassment, you get this review. I have evidence to show that your company revealed my details and the transfer screenshot to another Carousell user despite me persistently telling you not to do so and without my permission. This is a Violation of the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). I had hoped to resolve this amicably. But, it seems you are not willing to support me by keep allowing Abe to harass me with emails. That's why I'm writing this review.
I long time in Carousel and have hundreds reviews. In my last list Rolex, buyer pays buy Carousell protection. Make deal, press the Order complete. I had email my balance now 4,888 but! Money was pending. I try to text carousell support team all day! Everybody says same Be passion! 1-3 days money will be on your balance. Today day 4 nothing is change! Nobody email me explaining what happened with my money! I will go make police report on Carousell PTE LTD because it is stilling.
Carousel will, up to their absolute discretion suspend your account for 1 month if their moderators felt it was necessary, for example, if you had mistakenly listed a banned item, eg medicines. It is like capital punishment for an innocent crime.
Carousel is also a haven for scammers and the Ministry of Home Affairs of Singapore has sent warnings of more than one thousand complaints received of people being scammed at Carousel. Carousel is pro scammers rather than pro decent sellers.
Admin ignores practically every violation users violate, targets minority outsiders, scammers heaven, really. Very singapore site, a lot like how singapore functions, happy on the outside rotten on the inside.
The online chat support sucks absolutely and they don't even dare to pick up a call and speak to their account holders... i will never recommend this app to anyone unless they bother to change and improve the system... that is when the entire management team is young and inexperienced to customer service... hire someone with customer service experience and NOT just technically savvy...

Charged a fee for "security" in purchase and then release the money to the buyer even before the purchase reaches. Worst of all, upon discovery of a fake item, I reported and was told that they have already released the payment and cannot do anything except to ask the Seller to respond to me. Will the seller do so when the intention to deceive was apparent? Sigh…

Horrible service. I bought an item with "Carousell Certified/Guarantee." I reached out to them and they haven't replied in 15 days. When I try to chat, it doesn't even get me to an actual person. It keeps looping to the stupid ChatBot. I shouldn't have purchased the warranty from Carousell. It is horrible dealing with them. One time they reply saying that, "they are sorry for the delayed response!"
This app sucks bigtime! I super swear! Worst customer service ever! They would just terminate your account just like that.

I am pretty sure that someone has reported my listing because of the item description. You are violating your users right to sell. Just because the seller (myself) is witty in my post meaning I post malicious items. Please dont act like you are an important selling platform because you definitely guys are not!
Irresponsive "support", low quality website = recipe for self destruction. Carousell is not responding to support messages. They don't seem to care whether they go bust. Is this perhaps an Asian business attitude that I wasn't aware of?

On the first day of use, posted 5 books, and my account suddenly got suspended. Spent more than 1 week and the problem did not resolve. Ended up account being terminated without providing a valid reason. Live chat with people named CoCo, Sky, Faith - without a true identity. Emails received were all robotic auto-replies, totally uncommunicable. DO NOT USE THIS PLATFORM!
I used carousell quite often but not anymore, especially after my recent experience with them. I bought a cake from one of their sellers. Made full payment and an offer on the app at least 3 days before. Seller was mostly non-responsive, even though she was online, did not even provide collection details on actual day until i texted her quite a few times. She cancelled on the actual day when i was already on my way down. Reached out to Carousell support, the CS team informed me that all they can do is issue a warning. Reached out to their CEO Lucas and Sui Rui but they seem to agree with such behavior and policy.
Bad policies with the worst rating system that doesn't make sense
With so many seed funding, it's amazing how bad their product and customer service team is.
They are purely existing because they are pretty much of a monopoly, and Facebook marketplace isn't cutting it as well.

They said five ads for cars and then after posting 2 they requiring me to buy their coins for another car ads.

It's the best alternative for Facebook's Marketplace, much more central focus on selling products like items,lots,cars and even renting and other kinds of services that the website provides. I mainly focuses on posting and selling items, i have sold items there for a year now and it's a great way to expand and not limiting to one area unlike other selling platforms. Here, it can reach from any places in the philippines providing hit searches for people far away. It also keep your post until you take them down unlike Facebook's Marketplace that it has a limit to repost the items. Here, you don't need to repost the items and will be posted until you marked the item as sold or reserved if it's pending to be sold.
You can also customize your profile or your personal store and have an option to expand hit searches by paying a little fee for "bumping" your post so that it could show up more often if the user/buyer interests in their searches. Overall, i have a great experience using the website on selling items.

I find Carousell app very easy to place my Ads for Sale both Preloved and New ones compared with other apps that have limitations to the number of items to sell.

Answer: Yeah look you've probably been scammed. Same thing happened to me except the guy sent something in the post so I got excited, but instead of the iPhone I bought he sent me a $10 pair of reading glasses from the post office.
