I suspect there is something seriously unethical going on with this website. There are numerous fake accounts. The messages I've received don't seem authentic, and none of these profiles respond. I've even seen an account of somebody I know who told me they don't use the site. I don't know what these guys are playing at... trying to trick disabled and or mentally deficient people with fake accounts and charging them for this service? I regret paying for this site, but more importantly I regret that others less capable of recognizing the scam will pay for this with nothing in return. Very disappointing and despicable practice.

Within minutes of creating a profile - no bio no picture added yet - I had two messages from "members" with one line statements suce as "I like your profile, message me back" etc. Even if I was dumb enough to think these real, I would have to pay a minimum fee of around £20 to do so.

This is a scam pure and simple to take advantage of a population of people already vulnerable to isolation and being ostracised. This is the hight of disgusting behaviour. Please save yourself the trouble and avoid this place.

It's all a SCAM
May 27, 2021

How these people can get away scamming money from people with disabilities is beyond me. You pay $58 a month send messages to women and no reply, if they were real they would respond, but no nothing.

Scammers
October 21, 2023

I agree with all the one star reviews. I signed up today and got swamped with messsges BUT the moment I upgraded to a paid account (wasting 20 quid) I was met with silence not ONE reply. To test the system I messaged about 50 women and didnt get ONE reply back. Dont waste your money on this bull$#*! website. I'll be canceling my card too to make they dont take any more money.

Loadd of rubbish

Scam! "Fake" profiles that will try and lure you in. Don't sign up for VIP.
Don't bother making a profile either as you cannot do anything without a VIP membership (scam)

Upon going to this website they offer you a five day subscription When asked to put in your payment information? It takes you to a different page, which phishes Your information to a so-called sister website the print is. Very small and supposed to be designed for disabled people. They make sure that you are unaware that you are actually creating another profile to another website to further make it harder for you to cancel the subscriptions. The second subscription is a 3 day subscription. They target you and they create a new profile. And they create a username which you are unaware of. You only receive one welcoming email from 1 site. Which is confusing to someone who is disabled and barking on disabled laws. They are breaking and using fishing tactics. To get charges on your credit card for a second website that you may be unaware of by checking this box which you have not checked, they have already checked for you.
Everyone needs to report this website as well as their sister. Company disabled hub.com to the FTC federal trade commission. Because their tactics are illegal, especially toward disabled and senior citizens.
Even when you're attempting to cancel these, so aweso called subscriptions. They make it very difficult. You may be logged into the website. But you are directed to another page in which they ask for information to make it further difficult for you when asking questions. When you call the phone number, they will hang up in your face if they feel threatened. In any type of legal way.

A Disabled-Single Review
October 12, 2015

This is James, I am an Admin of a Dating Site Reviews Website. Today I want to share our Disabled-Single.com review with you:

First of all: Is Disabled-Single.com a SCAM? Right now, we think that Disabled-Single.com is most likely the best disabled dating site. Period!

Let us begin with the basics. The platform is genuine, the people using the site are real and the whole premise is authentic. You wouldnt get fake profiles, certainly not propagated by the platform. There is an email authentication procedure and information is consistently monitored to sieve out the fake stuff. If you are disabled and you are serious about dating, then this site is for you. Even casual dating needs a degree of seriousness as you cannot just fool around on the site and leave others high and dry.

One good thing about the site is that it doesnt try to promote the idea of dating among disabled singles for the sake of it. The site just lays the foundation for people to be honest about their disability and to set aside all apprehensions right from the start. So the people who would be on the platform dont have any problem with these disabilities and people can look for a date without being anxious or secretive about anything. Many such sites try to have a holier than thou approach but Disabled-Single.com is simple, straightforward and free of all fluffs. It is just a site where you have a high chance of landing a date and then having a good time, without lying or cooking things up about yourself or someone else.

Good Luck!

Be afraid, be very afraid!
November 11, 2021

I am a web developer with decades of experience working in Silicon Valley right now and can tell everyone upfront to be vigilant about subscribing to the premium paid service of this notorious company that takes advantage of a vulnerable population with scammed schemes such as auto renewing, auto subscription (I didn't subscribed to a companion service called Radio City Chat, specifically unticked the subscription button and yet it enrolled me anyway with auto renewing of a separate, additional service from a partnered scammer!) and torturous unresponsive customer service which, unlike other services that allow self unsubscription, users must go through to stop service and auto renewal. In other words, these are designed purposely complex to trip up the average human beings lol etc alone those with impairments. Finally, and this is a kicker, it employs impersonators (to look eave faked positive reviews here with authoritative title from no name review company?!) to shoot you a few lines but then disappeared. There are genuine users; however, their numbers are smaller than fingers in my hand (one hand!) and unless you want to venture more than 50 miles or more for a long distance relationship, then it's not worth it. It's a common grab and run scam seen on mostly older apps as the FCC and state regulators are leaning on these blights seriously in recent years, thou to h the internet is vast and complex so it'll take time. Beware of subscribing and divulging too much infos. I had to instruct my banks' to physically block and send me new credit cards to stop the thieves from stealing me more of my hard earned money. Just try a local nonprofit meetup.
