I had 7 days introductory offer from DOFASTING for $1US on Feb 14th 2024.
For the period of FEBRUARY 14-21,2024.
It did not offer much for me so I cancelled on FEBRUARY 21st, 2024.
DDOFASTING WENT AHEAD AND CHARGED ME FOR 3 MONTHS $79US
On FEBRUARY 21ST,2024.
I got intouch with them many many times by phone & writing THEY REFUSED to refund the UNLAWFUL charge.
Later they did not respond.
They SNATCHED my $79US

The app was okay for what it was. But when I signed up, I subscribed to the six month plan. Four or five months passed and I quit using it. When it came time to renew, there was no warning or e-mail notification letting me know that I would be charged again. Instead, they just charged me. I immediately saw the charge, cancelled my subscription, and asked if there would be any way I could get a refund - even a partial one. They told me that there was no way they could offer a refund for a six month subscription even though it had been less than 24 hours since the charge had gone through. It's absolutely ridiculous that they don't send out any reminders about upcoming purchases and then refuse any kind of refund for a six month subscription. I would understand if it was still the year 2002. But we're living in 2024 when digital subscriptions and purchases are the norm. Until they change this policy or the way they let customers know they're going to be charged, I would stay far away! There are plenty of other fasting apps you can use that work just as well.

This app interfered with my phone performance, made it frozen. Since I installed it, my screen stoped with no responce even to any touch. I had to uninstall it after I figured out the reason, but unfortunately they didn't accept to refund my money. I wasted that much money for nothing!

I would suggest looking up the company phone number. I have been unable to find one.
Perhaps also send a question & see if you ever get e response. That's important because the only way you are going to ever get out of their program is for them to respond to your written request.
Be careful when signing up on their website because there are alot of bait buttons. Without knowing you will be charged for recipes or something that you will never see at a cost of $24.99.
Here's the next trick. If you buy through Google or Apple they openly post that they can not offer refunds.
There is even a page that threatens if you try and dispute their charges that automatically makes you ineligible for a refund.
I received an email offering me a $1. Week long trial & I was charged over $85.
I may have misunderstood something.
But I was offered a $1. Trial and was taken for@$85. Not sure what I missed.
Not a great feeling.

Automatic inflated payments. No benefits. Save yourself 80$ a month. Look at the clock, drink more water. You are welcome.

After trying the app and cancelling in 2023 I decided to give it another go and renewed my subscription in 2024. The app would not recognize the new purchase I made online because I used the same email as the previous account. While trying to get the app to update my new info I deleted the old info. Because I used the same email the website said that I deleted the whole account and nobody there can help restore or rectify the tech glitch despite having no less than 6 people respond to me email, and they refused to refund the 3 month sub I paid for. I had to file a dispute with my credit card. Their service was terrible, and nobody was able to help from their "help" center.

I thought the app was ok but honestly nothing amazing about it. However, if you buy the DoFasting smart scale you have to have the paid subscription to get anything other than your weight. They don't tell you this. If you cancel the subscription, you can't get BMI, etc. It turns the expensive scale into almost worthless. Besides, you can get a smart scale for way cheaper that doesn't limit you because of an app. Total scam!

If you're all in, then you are ok. BEWARE! They continue to charge for their service with no notification and then refuse to refund and cancel service. It's easy to send a reminder of upcoming renewal but they do NOT. And then refuse to refund your payment. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES!

This app can be replaced by using the timer of alarm on your phone. Don't bother with it. The other features are undeveloped to the point of uselessness..

It's a total scam! Don't waste your money. Don't accept the free trial they will deduct your money with out your authorization!

I'm giving 1 star because I cant give zero. I downloaded the trial for this app by paying 1$. I then cancelled the trial leaving a reason. And now after a week, i have had 79$ DOLLARS! TAKEN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT! Even though, I cancelled my trial and had no app usage. THEY ARE REFUSING TO REFUND ME MY MONEY! DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE TRIAL without being careful about the subscription terms. It's basically a money trap! Amazon Prime got sued for the same foul play around subscriptions. BEWARE!

EDIT- subsequent to posting this review- they have agreed to refund me. It's a pity the subscription process is so terrible. The app has potential otherwise.

Do not subscribe. The app charge your card without your approval and then it's impossible to get your money back. Not helpful at all. I tried the app for a day, and can say that didn't like it at all.

They charge without warning and not allow cancelling subscription in any way. The location where FAQ points you to cancel your subscription looks different in 2 browsers, neither of them has an actual "cancel" option.

The beginning is great, it looks professional, if you want to loose 15 kg in 2 month, great we can help you... Then you sign up and for $60 you only receive an app which tracks your fasting and your water intake for 3 months. If you search in the app store you can get that for free. No system, no program, just an app. You can buy if you want for a hefty price a cooking book.
After 2 days I went back to them and I said I want my money back. They said they cannot fully refund 100% just 50% unless the product is faulty.
I am putting my story here so hopefully you read the reviews before you buy.

Please be aware that if you are not satisfied with the program and would like a full refund, they do not honour that. I guess they don't believe in their product that much.

My credit card account is charged for the services provided to some third party I am not aware of. When fraud is reported to DoFasting customer service, they are delaying cancellations and refunds. No phone support. The customer service keeps changing and keep on getting mail that within 48 hours it will be addressed. Case Assigned to Supervisor but without addressing comes back to juniors. I have to connect with my Credit Card Company to get the refund and charge back. I had already removed all credit card and banking information from PayPal as it appears that the user details were compromised. It is horrible customer service

I canceled this within 24 hrs, a week or more later they still shipped product and want me to pay to ship it back. They have also charged my card duplicates and other charges $1 here, $1 there... be very careful and don't fall for the you will do better faster if you do it this way. Found the app to be very basic and I have a free app that does so much more than this one. Still battling with getting a refund.

I did the 7 day trial and cancelled within the 7 day window. I still got charged the $78.90. Do not do this app unless you want to pay. Very disappointed

I'm coming from intuitional eating and I love the time-circle-countdown for my 16-Hour-Fasting. Worth the money!
Fun-tastic is the weight-dropping-writer, too.

What I think would bring more fun and health in lives would be:
• Not senseless calorie counting -> variation of good choices: whole grain/fresh vegetables gets bonus, might be better for health choices. And take in new science based knowledge for eating habits like in "How to be a Glucose Goddess".
• And counting black tea or coffee, too (in water amount)
• While I love the Fasting-Tracker, I think the Eating-Time-Circle leads to misconception like no breaks between food intake hours. Intermittend fasting means also time inbetween. Well, just an idea. Enjoy the fun everyone, it's such a great experience with ease.
