I purchased the Fitbit fence November the 4th 2024 and it has stopped working. I contacted the store I purchased it from and it was past the return date but it had a one-year manufacturer's warranty. I contacted Fitbit was on the phone for over 4 hours and sent them a copy of the receipt and was told that it's not covered because they don't recognize Walmart as a certified Fitbit seller. I contacted Walmart and they said they are a certified Fitbit seller. Don't buy the Fitbit sense it is a piece of crap. The charger is defective and the watch does not hold a battery life for long
I have had 2 yes two versa 3 and both have of them the face came off the top of the watch very soon after the warranty, the glue they use is terrible. I called customer service and they refuse to replace it even though it was their workmanship caused the issue. They offered me a discount code...REALLY? Why should a person buy another thing from fit bit and have the same thing happen? I will look for other watches!
I purchased a Versa 4 when my Versa 2 died. I had been very happy with the Versa 2. I have been a loyal Fitbit user for many years. The Versa 4 is a piece of junk. It does not measure distance accurately, the touch screen is spotty and it does not receive calls. I have spoken to support many times. Fitbit support told me the distance inaccuracy is a "known issue". This is equivalent to buying a phone and Apple telling you it can't make calls right now! They send me many support articles and had me restart the device, update my phone, update my app and finally factory reset my Versa all to no avail. I've had this device 3 months! They refuse to refund me. DON'T BUY FITBIT PRODUCTS, ESPECIALLY THE VERSA 4!
Product claims water resistance, but mine failed due to water damage. Fitbit refused to replace this despite escalation and simply offered a paltry discount on buying another. Terrible quality, poor company, buy something else.
I've had a few fitbit devices, only because I was able to "purchase" them using health savings points (no money spent, so no receipt). They have all failed in a short time, for various reasons. My first upper scale tracker was supposed to "sync with phone, tablet or computer"; but it wouldn't sync with my tablet, I had to buy a dongle for it to sync with my computer, only to find that it wouldn't sync anyway. My current Versa 4 will not sync (with my phone). I was able to sync it a week ago by uninstalling the app, then re-installing it: now that doesn't work either. It is less than 6 months old and used less than 3 months. I have called for support in the past, usually being on hold for more than hour before giving up. The one time I did get through (after 1 1/2 hours), I didn't have enough time to get my problem fixed. HOWEVER, if you want to upgrade your device, purchase a premium plan or order additional devices "operators are standing by"; and they really are, you will get an answer immediately, but they won't fix any of your problems, only put you on hold in the back of the queue.
Fitbit is about 15 off the proper heart heart rate rating when u move ur hands it count it as steps so if u want to lose calories it's way off
They are the worst trackers and I will never buy another one. Once again I have a tracker that is working but a black screen that shows nothing. You would think by now they would have resolved this problem and a lousy 45 day warranty! It's a joke!
Fitbit is instrumental in tracking my health and fitness goals, providing insights and motivation to stay active and healthy. Whether I'm counting steps, monitoring heart rate, or tracking sleep patterns, Fitbit offers comprehensive data and analysis to help me achieve my wellness objectives. I appreciate the user-friendly app interface and the ability to set personalized goals and challenges. Fitbit has become an essential tool for maintaining an active lifestyle
I've had fitbits for over 7 years. I bought the charge 3 when it came out. It kept having to be replaced. I finally bought the versa 3. In less than a year they had to replace it because the face separated from the frame. Less than a year later the same thing just happened. Now they want to say its out of warranty and offer me 35 percent off another fitbit. As trashy as their products have become, I'll never own another one. I'll pay a couple hundred more and get the Samsung watch. It's bad enough when they took away challenges from our friends on the app, now they won't transfer warranties when they have to replace their garbage products. Please be careful when buying their products
I bought a new Inspire3 from Amazon. After about 2 months, the heart readings stopped working properly and I was not able to get sleep data. I also had an Afib episode that lasted 3 hours and subsequently had multiple Afib episodes and I have never gotten an alert. The heart rate reading was all over the place and showed a dangerously low heart rate for several weeks. I confirmed that the heart rate was wrong by using a blood pressure monitor machine which showed heart rate in normal range. I filed 4 support tickets on this issue. I followed all of their instructions to reset it and then it was escalated to the warranty department. I ended up emailing with 6 different "customer service" reps who just told me to do what I had already done and would not discuss replacement under the Warranty. I then called and got an agent who finally listened to me and submitted the ticket for a warranty replacement of my device. I had bought a new device. They are replacing it with a refurbished device. Fitbit provided me with not only a defective device, but also the worst customer experience I've ever had. Save up your money and get an Apple watch. Before this I had bought 3 other Fitbit devices that fell apart, stopped working, or the face fell off of the device. If I had spent that money on an Apple watch rather than these cheap devices, the money that I had spent would have made sense.
I had my Fitbit less than a month. Had to call customer service. To replace it. My data with my daily meals were deleted for week. After midnight it gives me steps that I didn't do. Wrong data.I am in bed before midnight. I spent a lot money. Alot of time on the phone with customer service. It hasn't been fixed with the wrong data.I was very disappointed. Google fit app. Works.
My Fitbit is not even 2 years old. I have taken good care of it. It will not charge anymore. I called customer service. Her fix was to ensure it is clean. As stated it took care of it. They will do nothing out of warranty. I feel with the price of it it should last a lot longer. Not impressed. Don't waste your money.
Over 4 months waiting for my replacement watch as part of warranty and FitBit customer service is still escalating my situation to some other dept to have this solved.
FitBit customer service dept should be called FitBit customer DISSERVICE.
Defunct FitBit watch was returned as per instructions with promise of being replaced. Mailed Oct '23. Confirmed received at warehouse. Dec 26 '23 chat confirmed - said prior ticket had been closed. The assigned new ticket to follow up and send replacement. Jan 20 '24. Chat confirmed nothing has been done - still show record of returned device to warehouse. Said they would 'keep an eye' on status. Ha. I requested a supervisor be in touch. I do not hold out hope. If they 'right' the matter I will update this post.
UPDATE: March 2024 - Though it took ~ 6 months and a number of online (their website) chat box dialogues, finally a refurbished replacement was sent. Function seems fine. Battery life is several days - Seems short, but perhaps that is normal expectancy. I use mostly the simple functions, heart rate, timer, telling time, text alerts.
Fitbit did it again, my watch died once my warranty expired. I should have learned my lesson with my first watch, but fell for the the $300 sense, not just 1 watch, but 3! My husband, my son and I all got the $300 watches and all 3 stop charging, and Fitbit's answer, sorry your watch is not under warranty, and gives you a link to their store so you can buy another watch. Work on you product, and customer service istead
My daughter gave me the Fitbit charge 6 for Christmas. Complete waste of money!
Nothing is wrong with Fitbit itself, the app is not working properly. One major problem I have is that the app doesn't record the day of exercise correctly. It records the exercise as if I had done it the day before.
Eg exercise on a Monday gets recorded as if I had done the exercise on Sunday
Ordered a Fitbit charge 6 at the start of December. Was meant to ship and be with me before Christmas. No update on what was happening to my order. It's getting close to Christmas so I check the Status which has now changed to "On back order. Ships January". They didn't update me on this at all, and were happy enough to take my order through the website. Awful company and awful website. Avoid buying from them
I purchased a Fitbit last year. It was stolen in February and pretty sure never activiated. I just received a charge for a premium Fitbit subscription, but do not have any active subscriptions connected to any accounts I have access to. I contacted Fitbit and they are telling me that since the subscription was not cancelled before the renewal, yesterday 12/17, they will not process a refund. Well, since I was unable to access any subscription, I was obviously unable to cancel it. This is an unauthorized charge of $85.27 on my debit card and they DO NOT care one bit. I've spent several hours dealing with this to no avail and will be contacting my bank about the charge. This is absolutely terrible customer service. I will never purchase any of their products again.
Too bad I can't chose no stars. They don't even deserve 1 star.
I bought the Versa 2 for a simple reason. The circle on the front of the Versa 2 consumer packing clearly states "STORE & PLAY MUSIC". Except that it doesn't. Customer service tells you to carry a smart phone with you into the gym and then the Versa will control Spotify for you. Is that the same as "STORE MUSIC"? Not even close.
They refuse to admit that they have done anything wrong or misled consumers. They are arrogant and deceitful beyond words. They really don't care once they have your hard earned money. Basically "so sad too bad" - it's not our problem. Talk about arrogant.
Buy any product out there in the universe except a Fitbit. But don't take my word for it. Look far and wide at consumer reviews and all you will see are unhappy customers that FITBIT could care less about. I got taken advantage of: don't let it happen to you as well.
