When I attempted to adjust my policy, the customer service was shockingly rude. The representatives were not only unhelpful but seemed irritated by my questions. Trying to make changes or even get clear answers about my policy coverage was like pulling teeth.
To anyone considering Neptune Insurance, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. The initial low rates are not worth the ensuing headache and poor service. There are plenty of other insurance providers out there who value their customers and provide transparent, efficient service. Don't be misled by Neptune's initial charm!
I needed 2 endorsements for a change of mortgagee for a closing, Keighsy was excellent providing me the needed endorsement by email within 15 minutes. I was in the P&C insurance industry, underwriting side 32 years, last 20 with Travelers Insurance. This is the type of service that keeps the policyholder satisfied going a long way to maintain the renewal.

I was going to be a new customer but instead of charging my mortgage company they took almost $900 from my bank account a week ago and still haven't returned it

I started with an independent broker who sent me a quote from Neptune. When he was not returning my call, I went to the website directly. It asked me a few questions, what coverage I wanted et voila! Additionally, the quote was changing as I modified the policy so I could assess whether adding coverage was worth it based on the price (my perceived value of risk). There was some coverage items that were on the website that the broker had not mentioned.
